First attempt kayak paddle

I got the basic dimensions from the new kayak shop book for my blade design only I made a mold and curved the blades. Makes a great paddle for fishing...The shaft is cedar with a strip of walnut for a stifner...

The way the paddle curves back up toward the handle it allows most of the water to drip off the blade before it reaches the handle..
