These have the features that seem to be popular - and useful. They also have belt loops. I HATE elasticized pants for camping. I want a real, leather belt.

My favorite are Blue Jeans , especially for the winter ( all week of it down here).

For all round comfort ( 11 months an 3 weeks of the year , called summer) out on the water the Supplex Guide Wear from Cabelas with the zip off legs , pants and shorts at the same time. Great for camping since they offer the best of both worlds , long and short.

They are about like the ones you listed but in the supplex nylon which is great for our summer time , Nice and cool. Plus if you get caught in a rain they dry in a few minutes , just like the shirts made from the supplex.

The rest of the time it is the 7 pocket shorts they have , might say they are my uniform around the house.

Different geography , different needs for clothing.
