A few months ago I was reminded, that I had not built my granddaughter a boat. So ...

Maw Maw Bee shuttled the boats and us to the lake for the maiden voyage, and a shore snack. Brother went along as technical advisor.

Thank's guys. This boat is made from "sow's ear" material. I don't think it rates being a "silk purse", but it turned out ok, for what it came from.
2 - 22" cut offs of 1/4" BC pine plywood for the floor
2 - $ 5.00 each sheets of bargin bin Luan
Left over 1 X ? pine boards
Stems and batter boards made from pine and white oak Swampwood and I logged, and milled ourselvs.
1/2 quart left over varnish
1 - $8.00 gal. of returned paint. Lady at ACE remixed the color for us.
Maybe $5.00 glue and ring nails.

Total cost less than $75.00.

Value, "Priceless" :

BAY CITY MI
What Jack said, Beekeeper. She's a cutie and the boat is great.

P. S. I'm still available for adoption if you feel the need to build more boats.

Thanks guys for the compliments and the "adoption/grandchild" offers. Right now Mrs. Bee's building permits are being issued freely, and I shouldn't need any more grandchildren "trump cards" at this time.
The wood and my workmanship has some issues the camera does not show. That will make me try harder the next time. "It is what it is.", but my granddaughter is happy with it.
