Thanks, Catfish. Family together here. Dinner, ice cream & birthday cake (my baby's 48th today), frisbee, badminton, fireflies, and bats. Tomorrow, we fly some. Have to avoid the Thinderbirds at Battle Creek airfield.
You all play it safe out there this 4th if you are shooting off fireworks. Over in ( I think it was ) Clermont , Fl there was a 20 ( something ) year old setting off some of those Ariel Bombs that goes way up in the sky and vibrates you when it goes off with a extremely loud boom and a flash of white light. It did not go off so he decided to check it. He went over and got it out of the tube to relight the fuse while holding it in his hand . He lite the short fuse and before he could drop it back in the tube ....HISSSssss , BAM , no more Hand.
Yep , it blew his hand off according to the news and a copy of the 911 report they played on TV.
