When you fry chicken, try brushing it with a mix of 3 parts honey & 1 part water. Pat dry, salt & pepper, brush on honey mix, fry. It will brown up very nicely. Turn, brush again. JARVIS good eatin'!

If you are going to have Honey Fried Chicken since the honey jar is already out.............

Mix up some cornbread and in place of the water use Honey , one sweet batch of cornbread. Some Jalapenos , chopped up does not hurt anything when mixed in the cornbread , just don't rub your eyes or any body parts when chopping them up.

The PROPER way to make cornbread, is that the liquid(other than egg) is to be 1/4 evaporated milk, and 3/4 Pace medium picante.(and a few jalapenos)
Do NOT throw in a scotch bonnet, just because it's handy, and sounds good. It will cause tears, colorful language, and marital stress.
Don't ask me how I know this!
Corn, shaved off a fresh roasting ear, is nice too. And a chopped green onion.
