Last spring I contacted Matt at JEM to draw up plans for a sailing canoe. We exchanged several e-mails with Matt submitting preliminary drawings. It only took a few turns until we got it looking right.
I was originally going to build it this winter but got the itch early and so got started last week, working a few hours in the evenings.
I just got the hull glued up and am going to start fairing this afternoon or tomorrow. This is my first S&G project (I built stripper before) and all I can say , "it sure goes together FAST!".

oh...the facts:
Decked sailing canoe
Asymetrical hull
15'6" x 35" (tumblehome down to 31")
5' cockpit
Sail plan will probably be a balanced lug around 50 sq ft.
