I realize I’m returning to the farm boy of decades ago... it ain’t bad. I have several 22’s including a Henry 22 lever action. I been shooting like crazy! I bought like a thousand rounds of 22 shorts for like 3 cents apiece. Shoot’n walnuts off trees, cans hanging off limbs, playing John Wayne or “The Rifleman”.
Seems 22 shorts are available again. Second childhoods are great!.
Thomas Jefferson....In 1785 Thomas Jefferson wrote to his fifteen-year-old nephew, Peter Carr, regarding what he considered the best form of exercise: "... I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind.”

Like others before us, we started with a .22. As we got older, we "graduated" to bigger bores, and felt more grown up because of it. Then, years later, we rediscovered .22s again. And we realize how much FUN it is to plink with the darned things!
