Polish Fire Vodka
(Krupnik)
1-1/2 cup honey
2/3 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
8 sticks cinnamon or 1/4 cup "red-hots" candy
2 whole cloves
3 strips lemon peel
3 strips orange peel
1 bottle vodka
Combine honey with the water, vanilla, spices,lemon peel and orange peel in a large saucepan. Bring this to a boil cover, and simmer for about 5 min.
Remove from the heat and AWAY from stove(could cause a fire) add vodka.
Serve hot or cold.
