Over the past year or so I have been showing the Mrs. recipes on the Sparkey forum. So, she sez, all these guyz can cook so you should learn too. Well, I have gotten pretty good at it except I alway's have trouble knowing when chicken is done, now I have a sure fire recipe I would like to share.
Baked stuffed chicken.
About a 5# chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing, (Pepperidge Farm is good)
1 cup uncooked popcorn, (Orville-Redenbachers low fat)
Season chicken with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, brush with melted butter, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place the baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for popping sounds.
When the the chickens ass blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room, the chicken is done.
And my wife thought I couldn't learn to cook! :p

If we EVER go paddling or camping together remind me to let you fix the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and nothing else.

Either that or I could camp out or range when you are fixing your supper......I would hate to see what he could do to a good size turkey. :?
