Mrs. B's Spinich Dip

1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix (or Lipton's spring vegetable)
16 oz. Sour cream
1 cup Real mayonaise (not Mirachle Whip)
2 or 3 Green onions, chopped
1 can Water chestnuts, chopped
10 oz. pkg. Chopped frozen spinach, thawed, drained with all moistue squeezed out
Lightly sprinkle Lawry's season salt on spinach
Mix well, add a dash of cayenne pepper and stir in
Needs to sit in the refrigerator a few hours or overnight for flavors to mingle.

Can be served with King's Hawian Bread (real pretty to cut center out and make a bowl), slice the bread taken from the center to go around the side. Also pretty good with Fritos.
So easy and so good!

Mrs. B says that with Mircle Whip you will wind up with an inferior product. Just wouldn't be the same. Sides, I don't mess with sucess or Mrs. B. She mite quit cooking. :cry:

I do have the sad duty to report that there was something wrong with it. But, even more sadly, that even after 37 helpings, I was still unable to discover what the problem was. Please ask her to bring more next year?
