Off to a little cold weather trip

With the rains the rivers should be up. The weather would be a help in getting the ducks to fly so you guys can get some for a meal. With the cooler weather a fire will feel good and natural being out camping on the rivers edge is always relaxing and makes for some good times.
Heck a good adult beverage does not hurt anything but adds to the enjoyment of the moment.

Have a good time and let us know about the trip when you guys get back.

The river is still low ,some of the lakes above us or still 20 ft low ,we still need a lot more rain,
They just lifted the fire ban so we can have a campfire.

Sounds good, wish I could come along. Did without the duck hunting this year had to put the venison in the freezer not enough time for both.
I would think we have had enough ice up here to have pushed a few down your way.

They are coming in heavy now and with not much water they are pretty concentrated .

We have small ponds with a thin layer of ice up here....With low water levels might concentrate fish...Take pics...for us winterized folks up north...
