On a sunny Sunday morning, inside the little country church, the congregation was singing one of its morning worship songs. So far it was wonderful morning.
When all of a suden the church doors opened.
A man came crawling down the aisle.
He was tattered and torn.
His face dry and cracked by the sun.
The congregation stopped singing.
The man shouted out," Why me God? What have I done to deserve this?"
He left traces of his own skin from his knees as he draged his body down the aisle.
"What did I do to deserve this horrible punishment?
The congregation looked on in horror.
"I have been a good man!"
His ears had been burnt by the sun.
After a bit of time, the congregation began to wonder "why" also.
One by one they asked aloud also,"Why Lord?"
As the man continued to crawl down the aisle, everyone cried aloud,"Why?"
The man shouted out," Why me God? What have I done to deserve this?"
All of a sudden the outside turned dark .
Lightning ran through the skies.
The earth began to shake.
The building trembled.
The roof opened up.
A huge hand in a fist with the index finger pointing downwards to the beragged man.
And a loud voice said," You pissed me off!"
This one has stayed in my brain ( what little I possess) for years. Had to get it off... spring cleaning I recon.... swampy
