The cook ( Me ) got lazy tonight........ We went with an old time favorite of the wife's and mine , something quick and really good which we have not had for quite a while.
I took a tube of the Original Jimmy Dean Sausage , fried it and broke it into crumbles ( small pieces ). Then took a medium size head of cabbage and cut it in half , quarter it and the cut the quarters in half , cut out the center stem.
When the sausage was done I took the cabbage and cut it into bite size chunks into the frying pan with the sausage. Added a little water , Salt & Pepper and stirred it around until it welted but was still crunchy.
Suppers Ready....... Good sausage , sweet cabbage = One good but simple supper.
Chuck......
PS. I will have my windows open tonight.
