Considering that I've been building this thing from studying the pictures and postings that other folks have been putting up on this board, I've had surprisingly few"oh my, what did I do?"moments and have been able to figure out how to make things work out... Anyway here's the link to a slideshow of my project so far- I should have it in the water by the end of next month! I'm not looking forward to all the sanding in front of me, but, it will be worth it when I start chasing the fish around the local ponds and streams!

Are you doing your panel splices after the hull is assembled?

I used lap joints on the ribs, since they're easier to make with the tools I have to work with(and my limited wood working skills)
and thanks to all for the compliments and encouragement!

I realy like that chopper bike. Did you build that?

Yes, I built that too, along with several others- I'm not doing that anymore I kind of burned out on it and am working on the tooling to build more practical bikes, for hauling cargo (fishing gear, towing pirogues) I'm trying to leave as small a foot print as possible.
here's a link to a slide show of the other bikes:

I added a few more pictures...

I've added some pictures to the slide show of my build... soon as the monsoons clear up this week, I'm going to get her wet!(hopefully, I'll have some with fish flopping about in the bottom!)
