A little sanding, fiberglassing, varnishing, and fun. Any of the green paint that I couldn't get off, I call character.

It was well worth the work. Surprisingly, the boat was in good shape for being 15+ and stored in the weather. It's a marine plywood job, and the wood is beautiful with the gloss coat.
I'm a bit curious, TWB, why, on he new craft, you didn't slope the sides out some? Emulating the old pattern? Or, some other reason?
Yeah, I was just copying a style that I have fished out of before. It works really well in most situations and it's relatively easy to control in the wind. The newer one is more stable than the reno; however, the older one is much lighter. I aim to build one just as light or lighter than the renovated one.
