Hi, I fixed this dessert last night and it was really good so I thought I would share the recipe. It is similar to a busy day pie.

JEAN's EASY PEACHES N CREAMCHEESE COBBLER

1/2 package of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix(or box of Jiffy yellow cake mix)
4 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 lg. can sliced peaches( would be wonderful with fresh peaches and just use milk in the cream cheese mix.)
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine first 4 ingredients. Beat well for 2 minutes. Pour into greased 9-inch pan. Drain peaches, reserve liquid. Arrange slices on top of batter. Combine cream cheese, sugar and 3 tablespoons peach liquid. Beat well. Spoon over peaches to 1 inch away from edge. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Enjoy!

Busy Day Pie

1 cup sugar
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
1 stick of butter(reduce this if you must to 1/2 stick)
1 large can of peaches or any kind of fruit you want. Apple sauce and a touch of cinnamon is great cooked this way and served with vanilla ice cream!

Melt butter in an oven proof dish. Mix sugar, self rising flour, and milk and pour over butter. Pour can of fruit juice and all over batter. When baked, crust will be on top and fruit on the bottom. Yummy and fast.
