After Leaving Baroon Pocket we travelled a short distance (about 25 miles) to Mooloola where we spent a couple of days at Robins Mother's place.

This one is a view of out Glass House Mountains. A cluster of extinct volcanoe cores. They were named by Lt. Commander James Cook when he travelled past in H.M. Barque Endeavour in 1770 because he thought they looked like glass houses back in England.

This was Commander Cook's voyage of "discovery" and he later claimed the entire east coast of Australia for England. (greedy bugger)

These mountains are of immense cultural and spiritual significance to the local aboriginal people and many europeans here now have similar fellings about them.

While at Robinss Mum place, we paddled the local waterhole, Ewan Maddock Dam.
