Something we have been enjoying here at the house..........

Rock Shrimp.

Got fed up with the Turkey leftovers so to today we decided on having the Rock Shrimp for supper with some of the left over Green Bean Casserole. :D

Had a pound of the already cleaned ones ( No Shells ) so they were put into a pan and cooked.......

The ones with shells , slice the belly part open , break it and place them on a pan , sliced side or belly up ( Like a lobster ) then in the oven at 350 for about three minutes or till the shells turn pink. Take them out of the oven and enjoy them like you would do with a Lobster.... Dunking each piece ( As you remove it from the shell ) in some melter butter with some Lemon juice. You would not know the difference except for the size of the Rock Shrimp. Think of them as small lobsters. :D

NOW....... Already cleaned ones ( No Shells ) just heat up about a 1/4 stick of salted butter in a pan ( Or more ) , dry the shrimp on in some paper towels and then add them to the pan when the butter is melted.......Add a few drops of Lemon or Lime Juice and dance them around in the pan.

It tales about 2 minutes for them to cook , then supper is ready. The drippings in the pan make a good sauce to serve over them if you like a buttery , lemon or lime , shrimp ( Lobster ) flavored sauce since there is nothing else in there.

It is really hard to distinguish the taste of them from Lobsters and personally I think they are a lot better , more for less cost. "O" They are Soooooooo Good. :D

Living down here where they get them , does help.......... If you have no idea of what they are....... This will explain it...
