Here is what I am looking for
Pellet rifle 22 cal
Pump up
metal receiver and breech
scope mounts available for it
I have a pump up but with the plastic reciever, scope will not stay put, eyes do fair but not clear like I want for head shots
pumps seem much quieter than springer s.

I have been thinning out the tree rats around here with a Benjamin in the 177 cal , they come in 177 , 20 and 22 depending on which one you want. Plus they are all metal.
I have a 22 but it is older then dirt since I had it when I was a kid and that was a while back. It is in sort of retirement but still shoots like it did.

This new one in 177 has a variable power scope on it and it hits where the cross hairs look. A head shot on a tree rat will take it right off the branch and down to the ground.
