HI! Thought I'd post a new recipe I'm going to make today.

Texas Hash

1-1/2 pounds ground beef, fried

with 2 cloves chopped garlic, drained

2 16 oz cans Black-eyed Peas (one with

Jalapenos if you can find it)

2 Cups Rice, Cooked

1-1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 Cup Onion, diced

1 16 oz can Tomatoes, drained and chopped

1 Tbs. Butter, Melted

Salt and Pepper to taste

OOOPS!!!
Mix all ingredients together and place in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Will serve
four hungry adults or six with lots of salad and rolls. There's only two
of us so we have leftovers which freeze beautifully.
