Anybody know about these folks? The forum looks interesting, but do you have to pay to log in / register?

So, I emailed a contact for this area. AW an answer. I expect that, if these folks like wooden canoes, they're good folks. (How could they be anything else??!! )

I believe the cost to join WCHA is $40. To the best of my knowledge (ain't much) the forum is free,

Bee thanks for the link in the form there's some good information about using clear coat in lieu of varnish. I clear coated my last build instead of varnish too early to tell but it's doing good so far.

What kind of "clear coat"?

Did you register and log in or just read posts? I did not rally want to pay a membership.
