Sad as this loss is, I'm glad it wasn't a person. This doggy, like all of them, will meet us in a better place later on.

(Anyway, those of us who paddle boats with semi-round bottoms will be there. Not too sure about guys with vee or flat bottomed boats. :wink: )

The article says the guy strangled him from behind. How in heck do you do that? Had to have had a garrote, I'd guess. If you strangle someone by hand using your thumbs, they have to be on the FRONT of a throat.

I'd guess that using a garrote counts as premeditated?
