White cedar, canoe designs?

I'm ready to start laying strips on my canoe, I have mostly northern white cedar to build with, a little redwood, a little red cedar. Anyone have any ideas and/or pics with this color of wood?

Dapper Al may have some info on that. He has a beautiful strip canoe in what I believe is white cedar.

If Daper Al's is white cedar here is a picture of it.

As far as redwood this is my pirogue which is all redwood. The red cedar should look about the same as the redwood because a lot of folks think it is red cedar when they look at it , it is all California Redwood.
