Sam's sell pork loins for $1.58-1.90/ pound. Right next to them set ribs for $3.50/ pound! I buy one or two, cut off the fat, cut the loin into two or three roasts, puncture them all over with a knife point, and insert garlic slivers. Rub them w/ olive oil (to prevent freezer burn) and seal into a Ziploc bag. Vacuum bags work well to, for more money.

Freeze/thaw cycle helps infuse garlic into the meat. Cook as has already been suggested, or use a can of V-8 juice.

Sometimes, I slice up onions, layer the crockpot bottom, add the roast, add carrots, corn, celery, & maybe potatoes. Heck, add anything that looks good - you can't screw it up.

....And if you do - a little epoxy and wood flour will fix it right back just like new.
