I know you will not believe this but I have actually witnessed folks putting ... SALT ... on there watermelon.

I have put salt on watermelon before. Sprinkled a little in my beer from time to time. I also put sugar on grits, and have been known to refer to a can of CocaCola as "pop".

Got half-Yankee blood. What can I say. Been living in Georgia since I was 2, but the Northern heritage never completely washes out of you.
