For those who are interested, here are two of my favorite peroidicals

"Messing about in Boats" http://www.messingaboutinboats.com/

This 2X a month perodical is published by one person! It's not fancy, no color photos, but it worth the price ($28/year) for the odd articles and the great Bolger designs that appear every article. Quick read, but it does come every two weeks!!!

"Good Old Boat" http://www.goodoldboat.com/history.html

Good Old Boat features primarily smaller sailing boats that have been produced and how to fix them up. I find the fix-up articles very interesting. Low on advertising, big on articles. Not sure what the subscription cost is ......

Anyway, look them up and try them out!!

I get both of those and subscribe online to DuckWorks. I think I want to add
a paddling magazine to the list.

I sometimes buy a Wooden Boats off the newsstand at the airports while traveling. If fact I think that is what started the whole obsession.
