We made it out.....got home jest after lunch. She jest needs a few nites with some good shut eye. She wont be doin' no drivin' fer a few days, but I give her the week off frum her chores. 8)

I figger she needed that battery power Worx weed whacker. Now she dont have ta haul 200' of cord round the yard. [She give out tryin' ta keep the gas Weed Eater runnin'.] That dang stroke hit before she had a chance ta see how good I done on that one....adjustable fer the little folk (like her). She kin even "edge" with it. I didnt git the agent orange sprayer fer her, but I fill it up 'n spay half so she kin tote it 'n spray round the last of the azaleas :roll:.
The last 2-3 days her vertigo finally let up a lot. She still walks like she drank a bottle of rum (I mite git her a parrot fer her shoulder), but she sez the ground quit comin' up at her 'n the headaches dont bother her enuff ta take Tylenol. She aint done no drivin' since the last surgery, but I figger she kin if she had ta. If we kin git her thyroid fixed 'n the aspirin keeps her blood frum makin' a clot amongst all them coils, she oughta be near bout good as a new model. She likes the haircut I give her so much, she decided ta give up blonde, keep it red 'n cut it like I done. If we had a big time ICU where they drill holes in yer head, I mite make some extra pocket dough turnin' the gals with the Ronald McDonald look inta the Frodo (one of the girlie men hobbits) look.

ps Fer her birthday I am lookin' ta surprize her with that Coleman Extreme ice chest Ron tole us bout. We have a ole Gott (Christmas gift ta my other wife who left it behind when she cleaned out the house), but a heap a folks sat on it over the last 35 years. I gotta buy a new bag of ice ever day up in the Smokie Mountains.

Br'r Bear, maybe if you gave her an attractive straw hat to wear? Then, wet it down so's it's cool on her fevered brow? And, give her some salt water to drink. (Gator Ade is mainly just salt water. Only other additive is potassium for sore muscles, and a banana does a better job there.)
I even used to take Debbie a glass of iced tea from time to time. If I felt especially nice, I'd stay and listen to her talk a bit too. (But, I missed the end of a Dallas rerun one day and had to abandon that practice.)
Women appreciate it if you lube the bearings on their wheel barrow once in a while. And, sharpen their scythes, wax the shovel handles, and remove the nicks from their pruning shear blades.
They like little things like that. Not much to ask - unless there's something good on TV at the time.

Most of ya'll aint strangers ta her after January, but trust me (Mick), I keep a close eye on her. We dont know what mite come at us tomorrow, but if we draw a bad card, we still dont aim ta lose.
