I have a lot of paddling to do so I am trying to get the boats ready, and did I say I like to build them.
Yep your right Jack it is messy but I know where everything is
Redfisher the saw has been a good one and it works great so until I see smoke coming out of the motor It will be around. Learning to build boats is a blast and most of these guys have a lot more experience than I do
The forum is a great source of knowledge and(bull 2343) so go back do some reading I don't think there is a back post I haven't read.
Back to the wood shed.

Besides playing with my granddaughter's I did get a little work done

cut out my stations

IM001680.jpg

wired bottom together

IM001679.jpg

stitched the sides and stations in

IM001681.jpg

turned it over and started to stitch the outsides then got to thinking why can't I do the outside like I do a perow, think Ill try that instead of stitching the outside and bottom together.

All that in FOUR days.

How can you get any enjoyment out of working like a dog on your boat?.

Takes me four days just to decide where to place the coffee cup so I can collect all that sawdust to drink.

Got you fooled I didn't get shop cleaned up just learned how to crop the picks

and as far as building the boat fast I built it a hundred times in my head before I started and this one is a breeze using Matts plans now the ones I build out of my head takes a lot more walking and coffee drinking.

You see that Jack can't count to 3
The wood is 1/4 bye 1 1/8 lattice slats
I just used a pot on top of the stove to boil it in
and if you will look in the third pic in my last post you will see where I started attaching the top combing
Ron
That answered you 2 questions
