I really like the Bear metal take apart risered bows. I have an A, a B and a C riser with assorted limbs. The little Kodiak Super Magnum is another of my favorites, I just can't shoot it too well as I have a 29 inch draw and they stack so bad. The Kodiak Mags in lighter weights work well for me...

I epoxy the whole thing then finish it off with varnish for UV protection. I usually paddle for 12 miles or so in a day and haven't had a blister yet. Not into racing so that might change my mind on oil but for low to no maintenance, I'll stick to what I'm doing now.

It's seems like it's feast or famine on our trips on the Ogeechee. Sometimes we only hear a few and other times we see everything. I leave out most of the songbirds as I can't name them. :oops:
