    JEM Sail canoe DONE

    Well, mostly. I'm now working on a lightweight leeboard bracket. Had her out for sea trials a couple of weeks ago. Handles nicely, tacks upwind well sails close and is rock solid, not "twitchy" like my regular open sail canoes. starboard port on the water.

    I couldn't wait

    Installed a couple of temporary thwarts on the JEM S&G canoe this morning and went paddling. Very happy with the design. Primary stability is good and secondary is like a rock. Paddles well, turns easily. No cavitaion noises. Best thing, IT FLOATS! New pics can be viewed at...
