Starting a new boat today, last one I used birch underlayment that was put together with exterior glue, then i covered it with a couple coats of epoxy resin, paint and poly....I was wonding if regular plywod would hold up if it is done the same way.... and suggestions?

boat finish I couldn't tell by the photos if the boats were glassed or painted, can you tell us...if painted can you tell me how as far as primer, paint type etc...I would like to build a few for my nephews but the one I built I glassed and it get to be a little more than I need to...

seat I fastened it to the runners with brass screws and glue before I glassed the bottom. I am surprised how fast these boats are on open water, they seem to ride on top of the water instead of plowing through like so many other boats, the one disappointment I have is it is hard to fish out...

it floats full of water notice the water level in the boat is higher than the level out ot of the boat
