I dont see any wheels. How bout a moon roof? Up in the Smokey Mountains last week, far away frum big city lites, street lites, even the drink machine wuz moved out 5-6 years ago, we seen a sky plum fulla stars....really brite ones. If yer camper shell/trailer had a moon roof, ya kin lay down 'n look up at the Southern constellations......the two big ones, Dolly Parton. Bear Bryant iz brite, az iz Talledega 'n the Robert E. Lee.

Darn Bear , Ya should of never said that and just surprised me if I get out there and try Ron's Camper. Now all the surprise is gone for you and me.
I do remember things like that and watch out for them in the future. Guess I would have to put a note on the skylight saying.. " Bear get off the roof and stop staring threw the skylight and knock on the door".

Now I am sure I don't want a moon roof if I have to wake up in middle of the night and see that looking in
I got outside seams taped and glassed.

We got the door cut .
Coyote and I are both pretty good size ole rednecks so we enlarged the door to 30 inches wide.

IM002181.jpg

Started sanding and filling in screw holes.

It was raining on and off all day so we didn't get to much done today.

A little more sanding and then started work on the door. I got it cut out fit and glued and then put on the outside skin.

cut and glued in the insulation

The glued and nailed the inside skin on

Tomorrow I will sand the edges then mount in the trailer.

The Trailer is built so I can sit up on the bed with some head room and bend over and walk around, It is a glorified tent ,but no setup time , warm and cool dry and no wind drag .
The more I work on it the better I like it.
